The Big 10 logo appears next to the Oregon logo during Oregon football’s media day July 29 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
As Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA have officially been welcomed to the Big Ten, the conference also released a new update to the iconic “Maps” commercial aired on TVs during Big Ten sporting events over the years.
The commercial first debuted roughly a decade ago in 2014, when Rutgers and Maryland joined the conference.
Ten years later, the Big Ten map now expands all the way to the West Coast.
The commercial opens in the Pacific Northwest, showing Oregon’s Autzen Stadium and Washington’s Husky Stadium before moving to Los Angeles to depict USC and UCLA. From there the commercial is familiar to most Big Ten fans of the past decade, before culminating with Rutgers in New Jersey on the East Coast.
