Former Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer quarterback Scott Tolzien has received a promotion on the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff according to a report from Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News.
Tolzien spent 2006-10 as a Badger, and later served as an offensive analyst for the Wisconsin coaching staff in 2019. He earned Second-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2010 after leading the Badgers to an 11-2 record.
Tolzien is expected to be promoted to quarterbacks coach. He is currently an offensive assistant coach with the Cowboys under former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy. Tolzien played for McCarthy in Green Bay before reuniting in Dallas.
